Partners

Francis V. Sobreviñas

FRANCIS V. SOBREVIÑAS is the Managing Partner and Partner-in-Charge of the Administrative Staff. He attended Ateneo de Manila University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree (Political Science) in 1968. He obtained his Bachelor of Laws from the University of the Philippines in 1973 and was admitted to the Bar in 1974. At U.P., he was a University Councilor and member of the Student Council and Chairman of the Editorial Board of The Memorandum, the yearbook of the College of Law. He earned his Master of Laws from the Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois and took up postgraduate studies in Labor Law at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia and University of Tasmania where he received a Post Graduate Research Award.

In 1974, he joined Angara Abello Concepcion Regala and Cruz, where he became partner in 1981 until 1986.

He is a professorial lecturer at the U.P. College of Law and U.P. School of Labor and Industrial Relations and a faculty member of the National Academy of Voluntary Arbitrators.

He is past president of the Philippine Association on Voluntary Arbitration (PAVA), the only existing organization of voluntary arbitrators in the country. An active member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP), he was past president of IBP Manila IV Chapter and Editor-in-Chief of the IBP Journal for two (2) terms. At present, he is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of the Philippine Association on Voluntary Arbitration. He is also a member of the Philippine Bar Association, the ASEAN Law Association, the Scintilla Juris Fraternity, the U.P. Law Alumni Association, and the Ateneo Alumni Association.

Paraja G. Hayudini

PARAJA G. HAYUDINI is the Finance Partner. He obtained his Bachelor of Laws from the University of the Philippine in 1974. He was a consistent member of the Order of the Purple Feather, the honor society at the U.P. College of Law.

After his admission to the Bar in 1974, he joined Angara Abello Concepcion Regala and Cruz, and became a partner in 1981 until 1986. In 1984, he was a participant in the Program for Instruction for Lawyers, 16th Summer Session, at the Harvard Law School. He is a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, Intellectual Property Association of the Philippines, Legal Management Council of the Philippines, Alpha Phi Beta Fraternity and the U.P. Law Alumni Association.

Maria Yvette O Navarro

MARIA YVETTE O. NAVARRO is the Partnership Secretary and Partner-in-Charge of Physical Facilities. She obtained her Bachelor of Laws from the University of the Philippines in 1988 and was admitted to the Bar in 1989 after topping the 1988 Bar Examinations. She is a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, the U.P. Law Alumni Association, the Federation Internacional de Abogadas and the U.P. Women Lawyers Circle

 

Divinagracia S. San Juan

DIVINAGRACIA S. SAN JUAN is the Partner-in-Charge of the Legal Staff. She obtained her Bachelor of Law from the University of the Philippines in 1985. She was a consistent member of the Order of the Purple Feather, the honor society at the U.P. College of Law.

She was admitted to the Bar in 1986. Ms. San Juan worked as Law Clerk of retired Chief Justice (then Associate Justice) Andres R. Narvasa at the Supreme Court of the Philippines from 1986 to 1990. She is a member of the Portia Sorority, Integrated Bar of the Philippines, Philippine Bar Association, U.P. Law Alumni Association, Federation Internacional de Abogadas, and Women Trial Lawyers Organization of the Philippines.

Annsley B. Bangkas

ANNSLEY B. BANGKAS obtained her Bachelor of Laws from the University of the Philippines in 2004 and was admitted to the Bar in 2005. Before joining the Firm, she worked briefly for a private law firm and in the Office of Supreme Court Associate Justice Adolfo S. Azcuna. She is a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, the U.P. Women Lawyers Circle and the U.P. Law Alumni Association.
